L’Etape de Légende

La Marmotte

The Queen of Cyclosportives, La Marmotte has earned its place at the top of the calendar. Over 174km it conquers some of the most legendary passes in Tour de France history - the Croix de Fer, the Télégraphe, the Galibier, and if that were not enough, it finishes by climbing the 21 hairpins to the ski station of Alpe d'Huez. All in all one of the toughest challenges possible for the cyclosportive rider.

Our Marmotte trip is based in Alpe d'Huez itself, at the very comfortable 3* Hotel Dôme, where Monsieur Bory and his team are very experienced in catering to every need of the sporting guest. Being based on the Alpe 100m from the finish line means no hanging around before you can get a very welcome shower and a beer!

We collect from Lyon and Grenoble station and Airport on 5th July. On 6th July we sign on to the event in Bourg d'Oisans, and the race itself takes place on 7th July. Transfers back to Grenoble and Lyon take place on Monday 8th July.

The holidays are priced at £525 and include 3* hotel, breakfast and dinner, and all transfers. A limited Entry only option is available at £65.
