About our guided cycling holidays in France

Creating unforgettable guided cycling holidays since 2002.

At French Cycling Holidays, we love France and we love cycling. Our tours combine these two passions into a guided cycling holiday that you will never forget. We specialise in supported, guided cycling holidays in France’s most beautiful areas, staying at charming , individual and very comfortable hotels and sampling the finest regional cuisine and wine.

French Cycling Holidays is here to ensure that you enjoy the best of France — the scenery, the sights, and the cuisine — and to make sure that you have a hassle-free vacation. From the moment we collect you from the airport or train station, everything is taken care of. All you have to do is pedal….

Taking care of the smallest details

What sets French Cycling Holidays apart is our guides. Unlike some other companies, our guides have been with us for many years, and are experts on the areas they cover – not just the history and the geography, but knowing the best cafés, where to get an amazing local beer or cider, a fantastic cheesemaker or olive producer, and the wineries where the vigneron will share his passion and his knowledge as well as his delicious wine.

Our bilingual guides all speak English as their first language and are resident in France. This gives them both insight into French culture and the French way of life, but also the expectations and needs of guests from other countries. Special requests and needs such as dietary requirements, assistance at a pharmacy, dealing with last-minute travel glitches etc,  are handled efficiently and with sensitivity.  Not forgetting the legendary picnics that the guides prepare on every guided cycling holiday!

New! e-bike availability on all guided cycling holidays

With the ever increasing popularity of electrically assisted bicycles, we are pleased to announce that e-bikes are now available on all of our holiday tours, including e-roadbikes for our challenging mountain tours. E-bikes are a fantastic way to try a more challenging tour, or to enable a less experienced cyclist to accompany a more advanced partner without worrying that it might be a bit too much for them. Contact us to discuss your requirements; we're sure to be able to help!
